苗重安

画家简介

苗重安，1938年生于山西运城。现为陕西国画院名誉院长，中国国家画院院委、国画院研究员。系陕西省文学艺术界联合会顾问、中央文史研究馆书画院院部委员、国家级有突出贡献专家、国家一级美术师。曾任陕西国画院院长，陕西省文学艺术界联合会副主席，中国美术家协会理事。1960年毕业于西安美术学院并留校任教。

Miao Chong’an was born in 1938 in Yuncheng, Shanxi. He is an honorary president of Shaanxi Chinese Painting Academy and an Academy Committee member and a research fellow at the Traditional Chinese Painting Institute of China National Academy of Painting. He is an advisor to Shaanxi Province Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a member of the Painting and Calligraphy Academy of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History, a nationally-recognized expert for outstanding contribution, and a national top-level artist. He was the president of Shaanxi Chinese Painting Academy, vice chair of Shaanxi Province Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and a director of China Artists Association. In 1960, he graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and stayed there as a teacher.
